Yoga For Queer Bodies | An Inclusive Practice of Belonging | Xude Yoga with Xā

Queer bodies carry a specific kind of tension. The hypervigilance of navigating spaces not built for you. The exhaustion of code switching. The weight of existing loudly in a world that sometimes asks you to be small.

This is a 25 minute yoga flow built specifically for queer bodies, LGBTQ+ people, trans and nonbinary folks, and every person who has ever walked into a wellness space and felt like they were a visitor in their own practice.

You are not a visitor here. You are the reason this practice exists.

We move through somatic breathwork to regulate a nervous system that has been hypervigilant for years, fluid warrior sequences to help your body take up every inch of space it deserves, deep hip openers to release the stored emotion and chronic tension that queer bodies carry in specific and profound ways, and grounding movement to bring you back into a body that has always been worthy.

This practice is trauma informed, beginner friendly, and intentionally paced for bodies that carry a lot.

You do not need experience. You do not need flexibility. You just need to show up exactly as you are.

Please be gentle with your body during this practice, and find your flow at your own pace. Share your #xudeyoga experience with us and those that need this most, and feel free to let us know how this yoga flow makes you feel 🌿
